The hood module is the heart of the system and is inserted into the magazine of a tool changer via a tool holder. This makes it possible to change the workpiece carrier unit (center clamp/chuck, etc.) into the working area with the aid of the tool spindle and to clamp it on a zero-point clamping system. This allows several blanks to be machined in succession without the need for manual intervention by a machine operator.

Since no additional attachments are required for this, various machining centers or milling machines can be equipped with HAUBEX. This allows maximum flexibility in your planning, as you are not tied to a specific machine.

HAUBEX thus enables you to change workpieces cost-effectively and easily – and without having to purchase a robot, workpiece handler or even a machining center with integrated workpiece changer.
